First Friday “Celebrate Stevi!”
May 3 - May 4
Celebrate Stevi on First Friday, May 3! This event will showcase all the wonderful nonprofit organizations that make our community so special. Stevensville has more than 35 local nonprofit organizations, who provide help to those in need, work with kids, highlight the arts, offer expertise on gardening or history or hiking, sponsor fun events, and support civic projects.
Come out and learn what these worthy organizations do. Each organization will have a display table inside one of our downtown businesses or (weather permitting) outside on the sidewalks until 8pm. Get acquainted with these groups and their causes, and consider how you might participate or assist a group that shares your interests, either with a donation or a gift of time and service.
Many local businesses will stay open late, featuring products for spring and summer along with food, beverages, and music.
“Celebrate Stevi!” is being held in conjunction with the Bitterroot Gives campaign, part of a statewide program to promote awareness, volunteerism, and giving to local nonprofits. Many Bitterroot Valley nonprofit organizations are participating in the 24-hour campaign on May 2-3. To learn more about them, visit BitterrootGives.org. Stevensville will host a “Bitterroot Gives Grand Finale” celebration on Friday evening, May 3, at 8:00 pm at the Stevensville Playhouse, with prizes, treats, and music. Everyone is welcome at the Grand Finale reception!
Kick off the spring and summer season at First Friday in downtown Stevensville on May 3, and enjoy the first Farmers Market of the season on Saturday, May 4, from 10am to 2pm.
